Reuben - Courtesy Listing's story

　　All people inquiring about pets listed as Courtesy Listings on the EAPL website and/or EAPL posting adoption boards should contact the current pet owner/rescue/shelter for answers to any questions and for final approval and placement. Please DO NOT CONTACT EAPL about courtesy listings. The pet owner/rescue/shelter and new owner shall make all arrangements on transferring the pet, information on history, vaccines, etc.

　　Meet Reuben! Reuben was adopted into a loving family when he was 1 year old from an unknown background. Unfortunately, his very high energy level, overly enthusiastic socialization style, and general lack of good manners over time proved too much for their quiet household. Now, Reuben is 2 1/2 years young and has lots of good training and life experience under his belt! He is the same enthusiastic, fun-loving guy he was at first adoption, with a lot more life experience, training and a deep desire to have daily adventures with his Forever Person. This is a "Soulmate Dog" who has waited a long time to find his special Person. He is being fostered by his trainers in Boulder, Colorado, and comes with training sessions for his new family to show you all the things he has learned. Reuben is ready to bike, run, hike, splash and go on camping trips with you. He recently road-tripped from Colorado to Oregon and back, sleeping in the back seat of our truck, and loved the new adventure. He is very athletic and curious, he wants to go everywhere and do everything! When it is time to quiet down for the night, he is a total couch potato and also loves his bedtime crate. Reuben's personality is not suited to becoming a guard or protection dog of any kind as he is very goofy and somewhat submissive despite his outgoing, exuberant nature.
