My story
Reagan is approximately 5-6 years old and was an abuse case through alocal shelter. Upon intake she was only 17lbs and it was uncertain ifshe would survive due to the starvation and neglect (see beforepicture). After being in a shelter foster home for a few weeks (legalrequirement) she was allowed to be pulled into rescue with FOR. Shehad improved greatly in her first foster home and continues to thrivein her FOR foster home. After many months of treatment, two eyesurgeries, many medicated baths and lots of trial and error with herdiet, she is now a chunky 42lbs, happy and healthy! She does haveallergies and skin issues that are being managed with medicine and aspecial diet. She will have to remain on her special food for the restof her life so her new family MUST be committed to her medical needsand treatment! She will never have all of her hair back in some areasbut we think that just makes her even more special and beautiful! What she lacks in hair she makes up for in personality! She loves allpeople, dogs, cats, and anything else she meets. She just wants afamily to love her just as she is and to continue to work with her onher allergies / skin issues so she can be comfortable, spoiled, andhappy for the rest of her days!
