Ranger, looking for love!!!'s story

　　I'm Ranger and I was pulled from the Sacramento County Shelter in January of 2016 by Kimie with Kimie's Kritters Pet Rescue. I was in a foster home for less than a month when I was adopted. In my foster home, I got along with other dogs, except that I played a little rough. After I was adopted, I seemed to be doing ok until I was attacked by a dog that was off leash. After that incident, I became reactive to other dogs. Because of that, my mom returned me to Kimie and Kimie put me in a board and train program with Tug Dogs. I was adopted again and returned a year later. My new mom has a boy who liked playing ball with me. But, when he bent down to get the ball, my mouth made contact with him and scratched him. Now, he is afraid of me. So, I need a foster or forever home with no kids or older kids so I don't accidentally knock anybody over or scare them.

　　My trainer, Sean, thought that I was one of the easier dogs he has trained. I am crate and house trained and really just want to make my people happy. I am young and do have a lot of energy, so would probably be a good running or hiking partner since I am polite on leash. Sean said that I am neutral with other dogs, which Kimie is happy about. However, I am not quite ready to be left unsupervised with other dogs. Therefore, it would be ideal for me to go to a home with no other pets. Although, I wouldn't rule out having a female fur buddy.
