Pit Bull Terrier - Justice - Medium - Young - Female - Dog

　　JUSTICE is a petite American Pit Bull Terrier that weighed right around 40 pounds when she came to ARF. She has a beautiful blue/gray coat and a sweet, submissive personality. JUSTICE is approximately one year old (June 2012) and spent the majority of her previous life living on a chain. JUSTICE has adapted to a home life with virtually no issues. She has been in a foster home for just over a month and has settled in quite nicely. She loves all animals of all sizes (dogs, cats, and people). She lives in a foster home with 3 other dogs and 3 people, including an 8 year old child. JUSTICE is very submissive with all animals and people that she meets. She is definitely a lover, not a fighter. She would do well in any home environment and should have no trouble transitioning into a family of her own.

　　JUSTICE will make a wonderful family dog, and we are excited to make that happen for her. She requires a home where she will be an inside dog and live as a member of a family. She picked up on our routine here very quickly: she knows to sit for any meal or treat or when being leashed for a walk. JUSTICE sleeps in a crate most nights, but sometimes we let her sleep in our daughter's bed with the other dogs! She is always crated when we leave and never makes a mess in her kennel. She walks very nicely on a regular leash and collar and would make a great exercise partner!

　　JUSTICE has finally learned to act and play like a normal dog, and she is a joy to have in our home! It has been wonderful watching her progress into a household dog. She loves playing with toys, mainly ones she can chew on. JUSTICE is still young, so she does have some tendencies to chew things like shoes and toys so we try to make sure she has plenty of 'dog' things to chew on.
