My story

　　Meet our good boy, Pistachio!Pistachio is a 5-year-old, male American Pitbull Terrier mix weighing in at 40 lbs. Rescued from the streets of Ensenada, Pistachio has had a rough past. He is looking for a family who understands his quarks and will help him build confidence. Despite everything hes been through he clearly wants to be such a good boy and tries so hard to please his foster family.Pistachio LOVES the women in his life and will follow them around all over the house. Hes not sure about men and is very leery of kids and teens. Hed do best in an adults-only home with a loving mom and/or a dad who is willing to earn his trust. His ideal home would have access to a yard - he is much happier being outside then trapped in a house all day. While he is curious about cats, we cannot say for sure he would like one for a roommate. He is also not fond of small dogs but does get along with other medium-sized friendly dogs. He really just wants a nice warm home with toys, food, and a place with people who can teach him the world is a good place.Hes also been fixed, is completely potty trained and is working on leash training.Pistachio is truly what rescue is all about. He is the epitome of what an abused dog can overcome and how much love and hope they can still have. Pistachio deserves all the things in the world and in return he will give you a love and appreciation that is so genuine and pure it will melt your heart.
