Phoebe's story
This is Phoebe, s he is a doll. Sweet as can be, a little shy at first but warms up quickly. I haven't seen her around kids yet but she's a typical puppy so I imagine she'd acclimate quickly. That said, parents with small kids should expect normal puppy behavior as in she still puppy nips (we will work on it) and has no sense of personal space or her own strength when she's playing. And BOY does she play. She loves toys, she loves instigating my Doxie (though Eleanor responds with varying degrees of excitement) and we discovered she LOVES water. Jumped right into the Platte and swam like a maniac. She's confused by the cats and initially gave chase but we will work on introducing them. She's been peeing outside not one accident in the house! S he watches Eleanor closely for all good clues to a good dog behavior and she is a quick study. She is still very much a puppy and will need patience, guidance, and training particularly with chewing and potty habits. Doing well with her leash though, mostly sleeping through the night save a couple potty breaks, and we are working on teaching her name and basic commands. Some family will be lucky to add Phoebe! She is the quintessential Colorado girl who just wants to hike, swim, play, and cuddle. An active family with a furry playmate would be perfect for her. Put in an application at
