Pendleton best known as ROCKY's story

　　Pendleton is now known as ROCKY ... his foster settled on a name for him (check him out in his coat!) Is he adorable or what? He is sweet and he is a feisty lil puppy. He wants to run and play and be a puppy sooooo bad and it seems like he is fine but every now and then he bends funny or twists funny he lets out a YELP. That is because he is healing a broken leg and he needs to be on rest rest rest... try telling a fiesty 6mo old happy puppy they need to rest. Rocky and the foster's resident Hyde love playing with each other so the foster is constantly keeping them apart and keeping him calm is tough without kenneling him a lot of the time and he makes such perfect puppy-dog sad eyes. He is great in the kennel though so it makes it a little easier. Rocky is making good progress on potty training . The foster has not had him out on a leash since we are TRYING to keep him calm and off that leg (but he does pull so he will need training once he is healed.) He is a chewer (as all teething puppies can be at this age) so make sure to have a nice supply of appropriate puppy safe chew toys for him. He is a good boy as long as he has stuff he can naw on hehehehe. If you can continue to keep him off his leg and healing - he is available to adoption. His vet is Lookout Mountain Animal Hospital and we would like for him to finish his treatment there if at all possible - if not we can talk about transferring his records to another EAPL approved vet.
