This Pearl Export was the leader of entry level drums. The appointments on the export series is better quality than most entry level kits, such as; scarf joint shell construction, ribbed lugs, each drum is more substantial and there are more lugs total on each drum for better tuning range. This kit is used and the wrap has normal wear and tear that does not dimminish the quality of the shells at all. This is what I refer to as a "big boy" kit because big shells for a big sound, for those who prefers the classic rock sizes. However, the set can be adjusted for almost any height. The drums are as follows; 14" snare, 12" and 13" hang toms 18" floor tom and 22" bass. It definitely has that classic feel to it with the larger floor tom and sounds great. I have gone through the set completely to assure that there are no missing peices and everything is tightened, tuned up and ready to play. I have taken all the guess work out of setting up a drum set and also feature a one year warranty on all hardware/moving parts.
