Onyx's story

　　Meet Onyx! Onyx is around 4-years-old, currently weighs 12lbs and was found running loose after sadly being abandoned by his owner. Upon being found and brought to DHA, he was incredibly scared and was very sensitive to anyone touching him. Now that he's had some time to learn he is in good hands, he has been doing much better. He likes going for walks, doesn't mind being picked up once he's gotten to know you and apparently has a thing for the smell of coffee! He rides well in the car and gets along with other dogs. At this time, Onyx has not yet been introduced to cats or kids. Overall, he would love a home that can get to know him a bit before rushing into things. Once he knows you mean no harm, he's ALL yours! We will update as we learn more, but in the meantime, ask to spend time with Onyx today!

　　Onyx is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. All animals from DHA are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.
