OK/Max (Pending adoption)'s story
Hello, my name is Maximus Incredibelus. Okay I made that up. But they do call me Max. I am one and a half years old and about sixty pounds of Orange/White Brittany/Lab mix. I am a big boy with a big heart full of love and kisses. Let me tell you how I got here. I was given to a family as a gift. Things were pretty good until they thought I was aggressive towards their older dog. So they sent me to the animal shelter. I was adopted by a family but they put me in a crate. I didnt like that too much, so I got out. So they tried to leave me in the back yard while they were gone. I didnt like that either, so I got out. So, after 11 days, I was back to the shelter. Thats when NBRAN picked me up and now I am in a foster home that understands my needs. My foster family has introduced me to other dogs. I am proud to say I have a girlfriend. Her name is Sophie and I have a big brother named Red. We all play and get along so well. Sometimes I get nervous around new people. Once I warm up, I will bring you my toys, so we can play. I love my squeaky toys and my chew toys, and I am the best dog ever on a leash. So if you are looking for a big boy with a big heart, then I am your man.
Max is working on basic commands. He is neutered and micro chipped. Housebroken. He is up-to-date on immunizations, heart worm negative, and on preventative. He is a dream on the leash and loves to go on walks. We have introduced him to 2 other dogs, and he has done great. Sometimes he gets jealous and wants all the attention. Max has a little separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home with someone home most of the time or a home with another large dog to keep him company. He is a big, lovable goofball just looking for a place that he can share his love.
