My story

　　Howdy, my name is Freddy.  I am an orange/white 5 yr old male 40 lb neutered Brittany. I am utd on all my vaccines, in good health and microchipped.  I am HW Tick Neg and on HW Tick prevention.  I am housebroken and crate trained. 

　　I am looking for a family that would like to cuddle, snuggle and watch tv with me. I am a very good boy; I know because my Foster Mom always tells me so.  I stay out of trouble and can be left out alone in the house.  I don’t jump up on people nor do I bark much.   I am looking for someone to spoil, love me, and give me a new happy beginning.  I promise you I will keep all your secrets, listen to you with love and be the best boy you could ever wish for.  If you would like to have me, be part of your family, please apply for me.  You won’t be disappointed.

　　I do require a physical fenced in yard.  On cats, as long as they don't run, if you cat runs it would not be a good match. 

　　From Foster Mom:  If I were renaming Freddy, I would call him Shadow.  He is always by my side following me everywhere I go.  He lies in the doorway or the middle of a throw rug if I’m in the kitchen.  If I’m sitting or lying down, he is on the floor beside me.  He sleeps in a kennel with a mat at the foot of my bed.  He loves to be outside in the yard hunting for the occasional squirrel that plays in my trees. My sister says he is a gentle soul, very polite…never jumping on people or the furniture.  He rarely barks.   He uses the doggy door and asks to go out if it’s blocked.  He doesn’t chase my cats.  He does annoy them by watching intently wherever they go.  I don’t know if he would chase them because they don’t run.   He and my Kimber have become buddies. He gets along with visiting dogs of which we have had a lot over the holidays.  He has learned to sit and stay until released when I give him his meals.  Other commands he knows are come, off, and leave it.  We love each other a lot.

　　Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.
