Playful and active, one-and-a-half-year-old Moose, who is usually found with a stuffed toy in his mouth, is quite a character on four paws! An English Lab with a lovely blocky head and otter tail, hes a tad plump at his current 65 pounds. A bit more exercise and a bit less food in his dish will have him trim in no time!

　　Moose comes to us as a stray from a shelter.

　　Our energetic pup is house trained and crate trained, but does not appear to have had any training beyond this.

　　He rides quietly in the car; leash manners need work as do his greeting manners. Moose gets along well with other dogs, but is a rough and tumble player learning that other dogs would appreciate it if he tempered his enthusiasm.

　　He is quite mouthy when it comes to greetings, putting on his leash or if he gets overly excited, so a family without children will be best.

　　He loves to carry around a stuffed toy -- have one handy to keep him occupied!

　　As you can probably tell, the former owner, who did not bother to claim Moose after he became a stray, did little for this wonderful boy in the way of providing much-needed training, structure, leadership or exercise. These are all very important for his new family to commit to so, that besides being a very handsome Lab, Moose can be the best family member he can be.
