Megara's story

　　Who wants to adopt a shy but sweet little Pei girl with the CUTEST tiny ears, and a head that's smooth like velvet?! YOU DO, YOU DO! ;-)

　　Meet Megara! This cutie has surprisingly made it to longtimer status (she has been at the shelter 30 days or more). Megara is a shy gal, but warms up with a little time and patience. She is nervous with sudden movements or loud noises, so I would recommend a home with no children/older children. If you move slowly and gently though, Megara enjoys pets on her soft little velvet head. Megara loves treats and chew bones too, and they will definitely help you win her heart! She walks nicely on the leash and enjoys walks- going on little adventures will definitely help her learn to trust you and bond with you!

　　Megara was nervous/defensive with the other dogs during her group eval. She would do best with a chill dog who won't get in her space. If your dog at home sounds like they may be a match, bring them in for an intro!

　　You can visit 4 yr old Megara at the MCAC West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Megara's $25 adoption fee includes spay, rabies certificate and County license.
