Meet Maxwell, a handsome 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix. He had rough start before he was recued. His foster believes he was malnourished. He also had pneumonia but fully recovered and gained almost 15 pounds in the 6 weeks he was with his TX foster. He loves his food and treats so we think he will fill out well. He loved to run with his foster's pack on their 5 acres of land. He is a sweetheart and a goofball too... totally potty trained and doggy door trained. Sleeps all night on the dog bed or couch!! Gets along great with other dogs... he is definitely still a puppy because he does like to mouth bite your hands when you play with him. He is NOT aggressive just playful. He is a total sweetheart and heseems to love men..he followed his foster dad everywhere. They called Max the Glue Dog!! He is very smart and is easily trained. He also does well with children. He is just a great dog who will thrive with his new family.
