Mama's story

　　Mama is a small, elderly calico that still has a LOT of life left in her. She was abandoned by her owner to family who could not keep her so she came to live in the EAPL Cat Adoption Center to hopefully find a forever home. Very scared and distressed at first (she and another cat were living in one room of a tiny apartment), Mama has come out of her shell more and more and interacts with visitors and volunteers in the cat room. While not a "cuddly" cat, this lady will look at you with soulful eyes just asking to be fed and given a warm, caring home for her last years. Mama is in good health for her age--bloodwork shows no signs of any problems with her health at this time and she loves her wet food--will hopefully thrive in a caring home.
