　　Our adorable puppy Mae has beaten parvo and is doing FABULOUS!!! Puppy Mae is now ready for a forever home! She is doing fabulous in her foster home, great with other dogs, learning some commands and is house trained!

　　In the Beginning: Oh where to begin...it was 6:30pm Sunday night, a holiday weekend and we get a message about a sick puppy. A family had adopted her (from another rescue) on Saturday, she was vaccinated the same day and later that night she was not feeling well. The family took her to a vet on Sunday where they did a parvo snap test and she was positive. They were quoted over $1000 a day to treat and they wer

　　e unable to do that. They took Mae home to care for her knowing they needed help.

　　Thankfully, VCA Animal Medical Center in El Cajon was able to take Mae in Sunday night and she was immediately hospitalized and treatment began. They are a 24 hour facility, she is getting the best care and we are hopeful! This was a bill we were not expecting, we really need everyone's help!!
