My story

　　Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m a gorgeous, 8 year old tortie with a little bit of that legendary tortitude. I was originally adopted from the shelter as a kitten, and returned to that same shelter as an adult. The volunteers at the shelter sent out a plea that I was not doing well there, and that led to my rescue. My whole world was turned upside down as you can imagine, and I'm learning to trust and enjoy life all over again.

　　I’m very vocal and have no problem telling you how I feel. I will need time to get to know you, so I need a special person who will be patient with me while I learn to feel safe again. I promise you that I will get there- I have done it before and I'll do it again! I absolutely love scratches and pets from my foster Mom and purr up a storm every time I see her. I LOVE food and treats and I should let you know that the Cat Dancer is the best toy I’ve ever played with! I will need to be an only pet in a quiet home (I'm the Queen), so if you are looking for an "established" gal that simply needs a chance, consider me!
