Liama's story

　　Liama is a slightly shy, but beautiful short haired black and white girl about 7 years old. She happened to wander into a wonderful rescuers yard where she was taken in and cared for until she reached us. Not much is known about her background, but she is slowly coming out of her shell. Volunteers are working to get her more comfortable in her new surroundings. While shy, she does love to be pet - just nervous in a totally new environment. Liama was exposed to dogs in her previous foster home, so slow introductions will work with a new cat friendly dog. Be sure to visit her at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center at Chow Down in Evergreen.
