Layla's story

　　Hello from Layla, tall and regal, filled with the "zing of spring." I have energy, lots of it, so need both mental and physical activity. I love to play with the tennis ball. And petting? Bring it on! I know several commands such as "sit," "shake," "down" and "sit pretty." Come to think of it, "I" am pretty! Smart too! I even know sign language. House and crate trained, if there's separation anxiety, I can use the crate when home alone. I'm good with men, women and older children - even with cats and small dogs. Chickens, I just ignore! Know that when playing I can get overexcited, jumpy, protective. My yard will need to be secure! Here's why. Once in our fenced yard, I was pelted with sticks and rocks by a child. Sadly, I dug under the fence and bit. In the yard or on the leash, I need to be active. When walking, I may pull but will gladly correct. So together, let's look forward - and enjoy the path of ease!
