Kiska's story
Kiska is an older (almost 14 yrs) short-haired calico with beautiful markings. She was left behind when her owner moved and she came to EAPL. Kiska is in excellent health for her age and had a dental and bloodwork when she came to us - all her tests looked great. Kiska is fairly shy in the cat room with all the other cats. So she keeps to herself most of the time. But she really seems to enjoy the pets from the volunteers and will roll over and purr. Kiska was adopted with another cat and the adopter tried for 6 moths to make it work, but Kiska just did not like the other cat. So she needs to be the only cat, but she did fine with the resident gentle dog and was great with the adopters. So she is back at the EAPL Adoption Center located in the Chow Down Pet Supply store in Evergreen. She is not very happy to be back and is hoping for a new person to give her a comfy new home to live her remaining years.
