Five year old, 13 lb Kevin is one of a very large group of dachshunds we pulled from an Oakland shelter.

　　These dogs had never been cared for and we dont think any of them had seen a vet before they came into rescue.

　　Thankfully, their former owner could no longer care for them so they were surrendered.

　　It was a little overwhelming to get them all at the same time, but we had to save them all as they deserved to have happy endings after the cruel environment they had endured in their previous home.

　　Kevin was aged at 5 but as he has been in foster care, he has gotten more and more playful so he could be younger.

　　Kevin is fostered with a pack of dogs and is doing well with all of them.

　　Kevin has been fostered with older children and he really likes them. In the morning, he likes to hide in the kids beds.

　　He enjoys playing with the other dogs and with toys.

　　He is happy to join in a good game of race track.

　　Kevin has been good with all the humans he has met. (His foster mom adores him)

　　So far he has not proven to be much of a barker. Hes short so any stairs should be ramped.

　　Kevin is crate trained.

　　We have had him neutered and gotten him a complete dental.

　　He is micro chipped and is current on his vaccinations.
