My story
Keaton's goals in life are love and play. He's probably around 8-10 months old and has a great disposition. He'll be a medium-sized doggie.
Keaton shows you how much he loves you by leaning into you when standing near, it's the cutest thing. Nothing gets this guy upset, he just takes what comes at him. He's great with kids. He hasn't really been cat tested, but he doesn't get excited when we see one on a walk. He loves toys, chewing on his Benebones, and playing with the other dogs in the house. He's hoping to have another dog in the family he can really play with, but he doesn't have to.
He's learned sit, down, shake, off, and get back (when I'm going out the door). He was a stray, then lived at a shelter for about a month so we're working on ringing a bell to go outside to potty! He's starting to get that too. He's super smart and learns fast.
I've been taking him out with me about everywhere I can, Orscheln, Home Depot, our local brewery that allows dogs, the pet store, etc and he loves it! He's a tiny bit nervous in the car, but is extremely well behaved and doing better all the time. He loves walks and wants to meet all the new people we pass!
He sleeps in a crate and crates when I leave (with only a couple whines to protest then settles fast). If you think he would be a good fit for your family, apply at ! He'll be neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and ready to go home soon! His adoption fee is $175. Meet & greets will be scheduled with approved adopters!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Keaton, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
