Katana's story

　　One very cool cat!

　　Not only is Katana one beautiful looking cat

　　the patterns on her tuxedo coat are so unique

　　she is an exceptionally sweet, social and affectionate cat.

　　Katana greets all visitors to her cat community room, winding around their legs and allorubbing her pleasure at having company come to call. She thoroughly enjoys a good petting session and interactive play is one of her favorite things. She simply loves hanging out with people and all of the activity that includes.

　　Despite having had her life turned upside down during the past few months, Katana maintains a calm and confident demeanor. She was relinquished to us when her humans got a divorce after having her for only two months after they adopted her from another shelter. So now Katana is hoping the third times a charm for her.

　　You can meet Katana at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

　　If you are interested in adopting Katana, you must first come in and meet her. If it seems like a good match, the next step is to complete a cat adoption application. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or cat adoption applications may be completed online. A PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss your application.
