My story

　　Joyce,

　　I came to Wags after a nice lady saw my big family living in terrible conditions. My sister and her babies were being eaten by rats. The nice people at Wags decided to take us all away from there, where we were living among dirt and garbage. After they took us away, one of the ladies took us to her own house. My sister and I, along with our 8 babies now had a real home. I didn't know if it was permanent or not, but I am ready for my own family now. My babies are read to go find their furever homes now.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
