Jersey's story

　　Jersey is a 2 year old (est. bd 4/20/2016)shepherd mix, 35#. Jersey came to EAPL when her family was unable to take her with on their cross-country move. She is used to being in a family home around children and other dogs and is a total sweetheart. She has lovingly earned the name "wiggle butt" because when she sees you, she gets so excited her whole hind end wiggles with her tail. She loves to play with toys and goof around outside, but once inside, she's great at curling up in a little ball and mellowing out or snuggling with you by your side. Jersey does great on-leash, however, she tends to wander when off-leash so she would do best with a fenced yard. She sleeps through the night in her dog bed, is crate trained and house trained.
