Izzy's story

　　Izzy is a smaller german shepherd / hound mix, 40 lb.

　　Izzy is thin, fast, long legged, smart, attentive and independent. She is rather calm, a little bit distant at first, but becomes very attached after a while. It looks like she didn't get much affection in the past, and doesn't always know how to approach a human, but lately she learned to gently touch you with her paw. This always comes as a surprise when you least expect it.

　　Izzy 's past is unknown but apparently wasn't that great. Currently she is being treated for heartworm and is expected to fully recover.

　　She is good with the smaller and unassertive dogs, but gets defensive with excitable and larger dogs. She loves to play. If there is no playmate around, she finds something to throw up in the air and catch. It's a beautiful site to watch :).
