My story

　　This sweet boy is looking for a soft spot to snuggle and a few scratches a day. He has been great at using the litterbox in his foster home and gets along well with the dogs! 

　　Ichabod is positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which means he can cohabitate with other cats, and with dogs or other non-cat animals. FIV is species- specific and only contagious to other cats; it is not contagious to humans, dogs, or other non-cat animals. FIV is typically only transmitted through deep blood-drawing bite wounds. FIV+ cats can live happy lives in socialized multi-cat households. Ichabod must always remain an indoor cat, and needs to be fed a nutritionally complete and balanced diet with annual veterinarian visits. Although FIV+ cats do have a compromised immune system and may be prone to certain illnesses they can live the same lifespan as non FIV+ cats. Email [email protected] if you are interested!
