My story
Hootie is a 6-year-old male Black Lab who has already been neutered. He was brought to PAHS after his owner passed away; and no other family member could keep him. Hootie is jet black with no white markings. He weighs 60 pounds so he is considered to be a large adult dog. Hootie is a simply amazing fellow. He is a perfect example of why Labs are such a popular breed. Hootie is sweet, loving, and very friendly. He is great with children and other dogs. he is well behaved, calm, leash trained, and house trained. We know he must miss his owner terribly and we can't wait for Hootie to have a home again with a loving family. He is such a good boy with a remarkable temperament--he deserves a really great new start on life! By the way, we usually post several pictures of a dog but it was so hot that we decided to cut to the chase!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative. July 12, 2022, 5:56 pm
