　　basically it has a built in mixer with a EXCELLENT built in soundcard... It draws power from the USB and you can just hook it up to a laptop and GO!!! its bundled with Virtual DJ CONSOLE Edition HOWEVER works with the current full version of VIRTUAL DJ 7 as well as previous versions. It's a midi controller so it can be used with other DJ softwares that support midi player control.. since its a built in mixer you can also hook up CDJs or VINYL for mixing oldschool without a laptop OR use time code records/CDs for a more full feeling if you want to used your laptop!
