My story
Havana is a very sweet senior male Russian Blue mix. He is a stray being cared for by neighbors in a residential neighborhood in Martinez. He's calm, talkative, and very friendly. He stays by his human's side for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He doesn't stray far and it is always easy to find him. No one knows his history. People say he has been around for a long time with no home. Neighbors who know him and feed him would like to see him find a forever home where he can live out his senior years.
Havana might prefer to be an only pet. A few families who take care of him have other cats, and Havana hasn't been able to join the pack. They also don't believe he would enjoy dogs, though he has no known experience with this. The desire for Havana to be an only pet in his retirement is the main reason why they are helping him find a new forever home, indoors only. Over a year ago, Havana went to the veterinarian after a fight with another neighborhood cat, and after that he lived indoors to heal. He loved it! He used his litter box with no problem.
He is looking for an indoor-only retirement, perhaps with the option to enjoy a catio, backpack, or walks on a leash (you'll have to ask him what he thinks!)
Havana is not owned by The Dancing Cat. To arrange to meet him or find out more, email us at [email protected].
