I would ask that if anyone be willing to take either/or or both in, they can email me at [email protected]. I can give more information to any inquires. Ginny, when thinner was such a beautiful girl. Even in her older years with some exercise she could be again. Even now in the shelter she is looking weight and looking better. Let me know if the pics came through too. Thank you!
Ginny is a 9 year old, spayed female, Pit Bull mix that weighs 77lbs. She has had quite a sedentary life and would do well with walks to bring her weight down. Ginny is a cutie looking for a calm household to spend her retirement years in. Due to her independent and reserved personality, we are asking that Ginny goes to a home with no kids under the age of 8. When introduced to another dog her size Ginny was growly. We are asking that she goes to a home with no other dogs. Ginny has special medical needs that our adoption counselors can discuss with potential adopters. Adopters will want to consult their vet about the possibility of long term treatment and management of hypothyroidism. Ginny and Leo were brought to the shelter together. Leo is quite attached to Ginny. If they could stay together that would be ideal but good homes is the most important goal. Transportation for these pups can be arranged from Nebraska. Adoption fees to Capitol Shelter will need to be covered to bring one or both to a new home.
