Julius Schnittchen was born in Budapest, an architect engineer who escaped from Hungary in 1956, member of the Kankakee Art League and Iroquois County Historical Society, studied painting under Zoltan Szabo. Hundreds of his paintings adorn the walls of corporations and private homes. He and his wife resided in Sheldon, Iroquois County, IL for 25 years.
