Evie's story
Evie is a 4-5MO, 5lb Chihuahua Mix.
Evie was dumped a shelter in TX with her brother Elek. They were both owner surrenders because the "breeder" couldn't sell them and didn't want to deal with the responsibility of them if they weren't bringing in any money. Poor babies were terrified and abandoned at such a young age through no fault of their own.
Evie has now been in CO for 3 weeks and is ready to find her forever homes. She is 100% happy and healthy. Her fosters love her so much and say she is the best dog. She gets along great with their kids and their other dogs. She loves to play and snuggle up with her foster mom, or kids in the household. She is very smart and doing great with potty training so far. She absolutely has a personality, but every aspect of it is amazing, sweet, and goofy. Evie is truly one of a kind.
We would love Evie to go to a home with a family who has lots of time to spend with her and tons of love/snuggles to give. She is such an affectionate girl, she needs a family who is okay with that affection and love. She would also do great in a home with another dog, but it is not a must. As long as she has a loving family, Evie will be a happy girl.
