My story

　　Elroy, the most handsome, hunky boy! Elroy is a perfectly well behaved, middle aged gentleman who is 5 years old and around 55 pounds. He was found as a stray in Philly, covered in tar, on a day when it was over 100 degrees outside. Thanks to some good samaritans, he got himself to a local rescue partner for safety. Unfortunately, despite over 1000 people sharing his story, and spending over a month at animal control, still, nobody had come for Elroy! This sweet and dog social gentleman can't wait to break out of the shelter once and for all with his forever humans! He's working on his best home manners and hanging out so politely in his kennel every day, won't you give him a chance to be your new forever friend?

　　If you're interested in offering Elroy a forever home, please fill out an adoption application, or visit us during open hours, Wednesday-Friday from 1pm-7pm, and Saturday from noon-5pm. Applications are processed on a first come, best fit basis.
