Dottie's story
More photos coming soon!
Dottie had been living on the streets since birth, according to people in the neighborhood, and she'd had litter after litter before we gained her trust and took her into our care. There, she went from a shy, guarded street cat to an affectionate and playful companion who loves to snuggle and chase balls of paper and other toys. Dottie loves interaction with people but she is also good at entertaining herself, so she'd be an appropriate pet for an apartment environment. Dottie has excellent litterbox habits and is a tidy cat. She scratches on her cat tree and turbo scratcher only. Dottie has a very loud purr that she uses generouslyyou can always tell when she's happy. She also has striking eyes, beautiful markings, and the most delicate little multicolored toe pads. Because Dottie lived as a stray during her youngest years, she has a tendency to play a bit rough, which is why we recommend that she go to a home without very young children. She is learning her home manners, though, and with the patience and gentle guidance of an experienced cat guardian, she will be the perfect cat companion.
If you'd like to meet Dottie and are interested in making her part of your family, please click the green Ask About Me button (to the right) and fill out the form or e-mail us ([email protected]) for an adoption application. Dottie's adoption fee is $60. Dottie is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped and has been treated for internal and external parasites. She receives ongoing topical medication to remain flea-free, and she lives indoors (some of the photos were taken as we were earning her trust in her original outdoor environment).
