My story
Heimdallr (Dollar) is named after a Norse god who keeps watch for invaders. This Dollar has not had much opportunity to watch for invaders as he has been cooped up in the house and in a crate for most of his life, 12-14 hours a day. In spite of this, he is a loving and friendly dog who just wants your attention and your love. We believe that with regular access to the yard, he is completely house trained. As with most male Dals, he is very energetic and needs to run and play outside to blow off steam. He could be your running partner! Obedience training is strongly recommended. He's tough on a leash and pulls to meet every dog and person he meets on the street. He has not been introduced to cats or kids, and, because of his size, small kids are probably not recommended. At 70 pounds, he is a big boy. Dollar needs an experienced owner who has the patience to work through his few issues to make him an awesome companion dog. A securely fenced yard is a must - no apartments. Currently located in Colorado Springs. For more information, contact Jeannine at [email protected]. If interested in this dog, please go to and submit an application for adoption. Under Adoptions, please read our adoption policy. We must have an application before we can begin the adoption process and each dog does have foster contact listed.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dollar, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
