WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE MCLOVIN'!Greetings and salutations, Colorado, its me, McLovin! I like to fancy myself a courteous and honorable gent, and my mom always told me begging is bad manners, but the Underdogs assured me that begging for a hero to help save you is the exception to that rule.Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is McLovin and Im a 5 year-old gentle giant American Bulldog/Boxer mix buddy, currently residing at a local Colorado shelter. Im not quite sure how I ended up in this predicament, the kind where youre begging strangers on the Facebook for a life-saving hero, but here I am. Since I refuse to tattle on my previous peoples, the Underdogs can only surmise that I was once somebodys well-loved guy. Which sounds about right, since I have impeccable bathroom manners, walk myself politely on my leash and lounge quietly in my kennel. Plus, I arrived at the shelter sans balls, ergo somebody, at some time, got me the balls surgery.Ill never know why my previous peoples stopped loving me and why they left me to wander the cold winter streets alone. What I do know, though, is that Ive never stopped loving the peoples, ALL the peoples. Because man alive, do I love them! I could sweetly lean into them for pets and cuddles all day long. And if they gave me proper permission, Id also happily cover them in my signature McLovin smooches. Its also my sole mission in life to make them laugh with my hilarious antics and brilliant knock knock jokes. The thing is, though, I mostly just like to be a one-dog act. Even though I can happily walk past other canines on my leash, when they get into my very close personal space, they annoy me too much. I mean, its natural to not want your peers all up in your business, right? So now I need a foster or adoptive couch to crash on where I can be the only canine comedian. In all other ways, Im truly the easiest dog on the planet. My shelter friends even think I would be a gentleman with the kitties.Those same shelter friends discovered that I have a low-grade heart murmur and some pesky boxer gums deal, so I need a heart ultra-sound and a dental surgery. This means I can't go on the shelter adoption floor and I need a new place to go by this Friday (eeeeek!). The Underdogs said they would pay those dog doctor bills, we just need to find a foster or adopter hero first. So how about it, can the worlds most perfect gentleman Underdog come crash with you?!
