Col. Mustard's story

　　Two moms and 8 babies were rescued down in Denver from an area that is being demolished and folks being evicted quickly. These precious kids were dumped when their owners had to move out, but luckily for them some folks found them and were able to borrow a carrier to house them. Previous adopters drove by and saw the carrier, not believing an animal would be left inside in 95 degree heat. Immediately took them home and called us. Now safe and sound; ready for adoption after several weeks in a protected environment, all of the kittens are growing and developing daily. Personalities change hour by hour it seems. All are playful, eating well, using the litterbox - curious, sweet and loving/terrors! Moms are doing well - just waiting for their time to come! Currently all are being fostered at Evergreen Cat Lodge - waiting for you to come and take one or two home. Complete a cat application on the rescue's website - Approval ahead of time means they can go home same day.
