Cody - Courtesy Listing's story

　　All people inquiring about pets listed as Courtesy Listings on the EAPL website and/or EAPL posting adoption boards should contact the current pet owner/rescue/shelter for answers to any questions and for final approval and placement. Please DO NOT CONTACT EAPL about courtesy listings. The pet owner/rescue/shelter and new owner shall make all arrangements on transferring the pet, information on history, vaccines, etc.

　　Cody: 6 yr old red male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. ~15", 18 lb. Owner give-up.

　　He is a very handsome dog who will be happiest with an actively engaged family. While he is not at all nervous or hyper, he is high energy and would do well with an owner who runs, jogs, hikes, or otherwise gives him a job. He is good with teenagers but has no history with very young children. He thinks cats belong on another planet! Cody is affectionate and craves his own human who will value him and be his BFF companion. Because he needs some socialization with strangers, he would benefit from obedience and/or agility training. Other dogs pose no problems. He is VERY WELL crate trained. He is VERY athletic! A securely fenced yard is also required for this energetic young dog. He will not be adopted to a home that uses an underground,invisible electric fence. Note: Cody is located in Idaho Springs, CO - and we will not ship this boy unless it can be confirmed that the home will be the very best fit for Cody!
