looking for a classic that you can drive without taking a chance?

　　Selling my mostly original 1976 450 SLC. This car has been entirely gone over by mercedes specialist mike schulte and his team; as a result, $4K worth of work was done (receipt) including water pump, thermostat, timing chain, all new brakes and master-cylinder...

　　All dash and power functions (including moonroof) operate normally (haven't tried the cruise control).

　　Car has 170K miles on the odometer, and has a clean AZ title.

　　Needs attention:

　　- car needs a rear mufler installed (I have one and will mount and include with sale),

　　- interior all original but is in so-so shape (dash has couple cracks, seats are worn with some tears in driver's seat).

　　- back windows do not operate.

　　- small crack in passenger side headlight trim.

　　- crack in windshield does not impair vision.

　　As long as car is advertised it is available. I will remove ad when sold.

　　I will consider possible trades for other manual transmission classic cars (from 1970 to 1992) but manual or classic motorcycles (BMW airhead preferred).
