Choppy's story

　　Choppy ended up at a kill shelter in Kansas and he's around 10 years old. He's been looking for his forever family for over 6 months and would love to find it by Christmas! He's good with others and fully vetted. His adoption fee is $150.

　　Choppy is a little snugglebug. He's still full of energy, loves to go for his daily walk, really likes to be around bigger dogs and play with them. He will run and play. He also likes his downtime, preferring to snuggle in a blanket or a dog bed. If you are sitting on the couch he loves to be with you snuggling. At night he wants to snuggle with you in bed and get under the covers to stay warm. Once he is used to his new home he loves to sit out in the backyard and just hang out. He doesn't mind being in a kennel. He will go stand by the back door to be let out when he has to go. When he's comfortable in his new forever home he will bark at strangers or loud noises such as motorcycles or semi-trucks, but his barking is not excessive or annoying. Choppy is inquisitive and loves to check out his surroundings. He is good with children and adults. He is not ok with cats. He would make a great addition to a family looking for a medium energy dog or a great second or third dog.
