Chloe's story
Chloe came to us because her living arrangement had to change suddenly and she was scared of the dog in the new home. In her previous home she lived without any other animals or children. Due to her not having a history with cats or children, and a negative experience with dogs, we recommend a slow introduction to each in order for her to become comfortable at her own pace. While she has been in the shelter she has been quiet and a little uncomfortable with handling. She did; however, seem to enjoy petting.
Some tips from her previous owner!
- She can be picked up, but prefers not to be held
- Loves to lay on an "S" curve scratching post
- Loves to play hide and seek with blankets
- Enjoys sleeping under the bed
- Tempations treats (not recommended by shelter due to her weight)
Recommended items:
- BRUSH
- Cozy bed
- Interactive toys (mouse and wand toys)
