My story
Chica reminds us of a little playful bear cub.
She`s curious with bursts of energy, but loves cuddles and naps.
Chica gets along well with our two smaller senior dogs, one male and one female, but she`s more interested in the humans in our house.
We have three girls ranging from 11 to 16, and she loves to play and interact with the 11 year old. Chica will follow her from room to room.
When my daughter leaves the house, she finds another human to hang out with.
She is crate trained and potty trained.
We have a dog door and she caught on right away. She knows basic commands; sit, down, and stay.
Chica is prone to jump up on you out of excitement when you return home, but we`re working to correct this.
She does pull on a leash and needs some training in this area.
Given all the fires and heat, we haven`t gone on many walks to work with her.Chica`s loving nature amazes us.
It`s clear from the scars on her she`s had a tough life up to now, yet despite the past, she is still a sweet and happy pup!
