Cash *NEEDS FOSTER*'s story

　　Meet Cash! Cash originally came to us when his owner could no longer care for him and has since had a rocky start to the homeless life. He is a lively, full of character guy who absolutely adores attention! Sadly, he doesn't prefer to share that attention with anyone and needs a home that understands this. While some training could work wonders, there is always that chance he will prefer to be an attention hog. Overall, he's an easy-going guy who enjoys the simple things in life. He enjoys car rides, doesn't mind being in a crate if he's given a stuffed kong to help him settle, and is great about waiting to go out to potty. He walks nicely on leash and curling up next to you on the couch! Though on a recent sleepover he was fine with the resident dogs and cat, he may require a home without other animals due to his jealous nature and does need a home without any children (live-in or visiting). We are also not recommending an apartment lifestyle for him. Overall with the right understanding, he is truly a lovebug we feel could live such a happy life with his special someone!

　　Cash is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met (please email us first). All animals from DHA are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.

　　Cash is 1 of several animals that is seeking a "Breakaway Buddy" foster. This requires dedication and experience to help them become the best dogs they can be, while also prepping them for successful homes down the road (or maybe even yours)! If you are genuinely interested in one of these special dogs, you MUST make an appointment by emailing Steph at [email protected]. Please include the following info: the dog you're interested in, who lives in your home (humans and animals), if you are able to keep your home absolutely secure from visiting children during the foster period, and your experience.
