This is a very common problem with older F-1s and is usually caused by old grease that needs to be replaced. After sitting mirror seems to work better, but gets more sluggish with use. Camera should be serviced and tested by a Canon technician. Please do not bid unless you know what needs to be done and are willing to spend the money to get it fixed properly. Otherwise this is in excellent (almost new) condition. There is a mark on the focusing screen that is visible when looking through the viewfinder. The shutter speeds seem to be correct, though not tested for accuracy.
