My story
This little dog is highly sensitive to sound and movement.
She apparently has been abused severely and has taken a long time to adjust to being touched without fear.Candy answers to sounds, pursing your lips or a small whistle. She loves children and shows no fear of other dogs, however , she is very protective and will attempt to bite at other dogs if food or petting is involved. My recommendation is to be placed with a Senior, primarily due to her physical condition limiting handling, she is not over demanding for attention but does love her back scratched. She just lately started being lively and I have taken her on a short walk and she follows easily and is happy to do so, she does not run away. She has limited teeth with a swallowing issue and needs soft food only, she will choke on kibbles. This little dog needs soft handling, she is loving and sweet, loves to sleep on the couch or in a recliner with you.She does cry when left alone, so again I would recommend an owner who is home more than awayShe is housebroken, and uses a pet door for in and out.She recognizes the the word `out`
to mean to move through a door in front of you, for disabled use if in a wheelchair.
