We received this as a gift at our wedding event last summertime, so it's less than a year old. We utilize it a handful of times a month, and it's wonderful system for house use - we simply don't use it commonly enough to validate the counter area. I clean the wand after every use with lemon juice - very clean device! This model retails new for over $300. Includes all the essential devices for brewing espresso and steaming milk.
