Boston Terrier - Butch - Medium - Young - Male - Dog
Hi everyone! My name is Butch, a little guy with a BIG heart. I'm a special needs dog looking for a special family to call my own! I have a condition called "Megaesophagus"; basically, my esophagus lacks the ability to push food down into my stomach, causing me to vomit up my meal when the food gets "stuck" at a certain point. My journey with M.A.I.N. began back in November of last year when they rescued me from the euthanasia list at the pound. I have been living in a wonderful foster home and now that we have my feedings down in my special Bailey Chair, I no longer vomit my food and have gained lots of healthy weight (almost ten pounds)! My chair will go with me to my fur-ever home too! I'm just like any other dog except I have to sit up to eat. My condition isn't the only thing that makes me special though! Through it all, I never lost my joy for life- you'd be hard pressed to see me without a wag in my tail! That's because I'm such a curious, spunky guy. I love to explore my surroundings, go on walks, go to the dog park and play with toys! My favorite thing is playing with my doggy friends though; I make a great wrestling partner, if I do say so myself. I would do best in a home with young, energetic dogs so I have a playmate. In my foster home, I ignored the cats- they aren't too interesting to me. I DO really love to play, but at the end of the day, I want nothing more than to cuddle up with my humans. The only piece missing to my happy ending is my fur-ever family...could that be YOU?! If you're looking for a fun, energetic and extra special guy, set up a meet and greet with me today! I am approximately two years old and my adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, up to date on Bordetella, DHPP and Rabies AND come with my county license. Read more about Butch at !
