Bolio *IN FOSTER*'s story

　　Meet Bolio! Bolio came to us at the end of October from a hoarding situation in Dallas, TX. The home he came from housed 60+ other dogs, 15 of which we agreed to take into our care. Sadly, they dont understand where they are and who we are. Some are more social, while others are very scared and flighty. Weve been getting to know them and have been making great progress! This group of dogs would be fabulous as 2nd dogs to any family with one or more outgoing dogs, that are also willing to continue working with them on their socialization needs. Bolio gets along with other dogs, however has not yet been introduced to cats and needs a home without kids due to his nervous nature. We will update as we learn more, but in the meantime, ask to spend time with Bolio today!

　　Bolio is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met (please email us first). All animals from DHA are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. He has been waiting 43 days as of 12/1/18. He is available for adoption or foster, with the intention to adopt (aka a trial period only offered to "Lollygaggers" or medical cases).

　　Bolio is 1 of several animals that is seeking a "Breakaway Buddy" foster. This requires dedication and experience to help them become the best dogs they can be, while also prepping them for successful homes down the road (or maybe even yours)! If you are genuinely interested in one of these special dogs, you MUST make an appointment by emailing Steph at [email protected]. Please include the following info: the dog you're interested in, who lives in your home (humans and animals), if you are able to keep your home absolutely secure from visiting children during the foster period, and your experience.
