My story
Hi, my name is Billie Jean. I’m a female tri-color hound, appx 2 years old and weigh 58lbs. I was recently spayed, given all my required shots, and am proudly heart worm negative. I was abandoned in the small town of Mendota, VA, and seen wandering the roads for several days looking for someone to love me. A local family picked me up and took me home. Over the past week they have been learning my personality and so far they’ve told me I’m the sweetest, prettiest hound they’ve ever seen. They love how humble I am and how I soak up human companionship. I’m submissive and playful with the neighborhood dogs, and with their indoor cats I’m pretty much indifferent. As for potty training, I came prepared and haven’t had an accident yet. Because my temporary family doesn’t have a fence I’ve learned what leashes are all about. I was a bit confused at first but now I’ve got the hang of it and we have so much fun exploring. We go for car rides too and I sit quietly in the backseat and watch the scenery go by. I think my previous owners abandoned me because I’m not a fan for loud noises. If a siren or big truck goes by I hunker down until it’s quiet again. I’m ready for a family to love me so please give me a chance to melt your heart. Text Teresa 75.
